We greatly appreciate Karen’s commitment to our department, faculty and students. She has served as the Chair of our External Advisory Council for 4 years. As a student resume reviewer, she gave suggestions and tone in your emails to the students. Loved her balance of reminding them of what makes them stand out, as well as digging into new pursuits for the future, and making it all approachable.
Karen Stanley is a widely respected business manager who has invigorated Buffalo’s nonprofit community. At the Restore Our Community Coalition, she introduced me to such valuable skills as marketing, event planning, and social media management. I have been proud to participate in the growth of this community development organization, having garnered grant funding as well as the support of many prominent elected officials.
